When I first started my professional career I made a commitment to myself that I would master the job within one year...during this time I spent as much time as possible reading, researching and learning in addition to acquiring new skills in the workplace.

12 months later I wish I could say I did what I set out to achieve (which would be the inspirational LinkedIn answer)...but the truth was I felt like I had failed. It was at this point that I realised that my expectation of complete mastery was flawed as the job itself had evolved and the goal posts had moved. Since that day I redefined my commitment to embrace lifelong learning and actively seek out new professional challenges.

After 8+ years successfully managing digital products in a wide range of industries including government, finance, mining/infrastructure, health and entertainment I've become proficient in delivering high quality products from conception to completion and building high performing teams to support them. Although I'm still always learning and searching for new ways to improve products and processes.

I feel a strong sense of ownership for the products I manage and enjoy getting into the details, collaborating closely with the team and engaging end users.
